Preschool

  • Low self-esteem and family disruptions

School Age

  • Continued low self-esteem

Teenagers

  • A variety of academic and interpersonal problems
  • Oppositional behaviors, temper outbursts, quick mood changes
  • Lack of motivation

  • Increased risk of traffic tickets and motor vehicle accidents
  • Antisocial behaviors and activities, clashes with authority

  • Frequent job changes
  • Marital and social problems
  • Increased risk of suicide, alcohol and drug use
